February @ the 1861 Club: Weddings, 90s Country & Big Celebrations!

February was one for the books at the 1861 Club!

We kicked off the month with a beautiful wedding that set the tone for a month full of celebration. There is nothing sweeter than seeing our venue filled with love, laughter, and happy tears.

 Concert Night Success!

We hosted our very first Liquid Aloha Series concert event sponsored by Kona Brewing Company — and WOW did it deliver! Our 90s country revival night featured crowd favorite All Hat No Cadillac out of Austin, Texas, and they were absolutely AMAZING!

The venue was full; the dance floor packed with guests of all ages two-stepping and singing along. Within 30 minutes, even guests who had purchased tables and seats were on their feet dancing. It was truly one of those electric nights you could feel in the room. We can’t wait to welcome them back during the Kansas State Fair!

If you attended the concert, be sure you’ve let us know what you thought with our survey!

During the week, we were proud to host an annual training session for a local bank, along with the Chamber Breakfast. We love being a space where our community gathers not just to celebrate — but to connect, learn, and grow.

2nd Annual Everything Weddings & Events Show – A Huge Hit!

Twenty-nine vendors showed up and showed OUT! This event is designed for anyone planning a wedding or event of any kind, giving them the opportunity to meet a wide variety of vendors all in one place. So many great connections were made, and the energy in the room was fantastic.

If you weren’t able to attend but are planning something big, be sure to grab our full Vendor Guide with contact info and photos from the event, along with the bonus Venue Checklist to help make booking your space a breeze!

If you’re a vendor interested in having a booth in 2027 — or if you become newly engaged and are making plans — mark your calendars now for February 28, 2027!

We wrapped up the month in true Kansas fashion with the Kansas Angus Association Awards Banquet — complete with tiaras, belt buckles, and some incredible auction items. Congratulations to this year’s winners!

Thank you to everyone who walked through our doors this month — whether you danced, planned, celebrated, or connected. We are grateful for each of you.

We hope to see you back at the Club soon!
