The Kansas Fairgrounds Foundation is seeking a dynamic, relationship-driven leader to serve as its next Executive Director. This is a unique opportunity to shape the future of the Kansas State Fairgrounds — one of the state’s most recognized and celebrated destinations — by driving fundraising, partnerships, and strategic growth.

The Executive Director leads efforts to execute the Foundation’s mission to Renovate, Construct, Preserve and Beautify the Kansas State Fairgrounds through donor engagement, capital projects, and community collaboration.

The Kansas Fairgrounds Foundation is a nonprofit dedicated to supporting the renovation, construction, preservation, and beautification of the Kansas State Fairgrounds. Through fundraising and partnerships, the Foundation plays a critical role in sustaining and growing the state’s largest event destination that celebrates Kansas agriculture, industry, and culture year-round.

Position Overview

The Executive Director serves as the Foundation’s chief executive and strategic leader, responsible for fundraising, operations, stakeholder engagement, and organizational growth. This individual will work closely with the Kansas Fairgrounds Foundaiton Board of Directors, Kansas State Fair leadership, donors, and community partners to advance the Foundation’s mission and long-term impact.
