October was truly a month to remember at the 1861 Club! We were thrilled to host a wide variety of events that brought everyone together in celebration, connection, and joy.
We kicked off the month with the NAACP Annual Fundraiser, which turned out beautifully. The event had an incredible turnout and a wonderful spirit of unity and purpose—thank you to everyone who attended and supported such a meaningful cause!
Next, we were honored to host the HHS Class of 1970’s 50-Year Reunion. With such a large class, the evening was filled with laughter, nostalgia, and heartwarming stories. It was inspiring to see how close this group remains after so many years.
Throughout the month, we also welcomed several local organizations for their meetings, trainings, and breakfasts, including Bank of the Plains, ProValue Insurance, and our local Chamber of Commerce. We love being a space where business and community come together!

To close out October, we celebrated two beautiful weddings! Each one was unique and filled with love—from stunning decorations to lively receptions that had everyone on their feet. It was an honor to be part of such special moments for both couples and their families.
As we look ahead to November, we’re excited for another month filled with celebrations, gatherings, and new memories at the 1861 Club. Thank you for being part of what makes our venue such a vibrant part of the community!
