Generally Speaking: Steel Beams and Goat Dreams – Kansas State Fair 2025 Coming Together!

Updates from Kansas State Fair General Manager, Bryan K. Schulz, IFMG, CFE

Generally Speaking:

Where has our Summer gone?  We are less than 30 days away from the 2025 Kansas State Fair and still have a lot to do to get ready for the 10 MOST FAIRIFIED DAYS in Kansas!

If you have been through the State Fair Campus lately, you will have seen that the new permanent canopy over the Peopleโ€™s Bank and Trust Arena is well in progress.  Our Kansas State Fair Team became a part of Fair history in a truly special way during this process. As construction continues, the Team, left their markโ€”literallyโ€”by signing one of the steel support beams that will soon become a lasting part of the structure.

This exciting upgrade is more than just an improvement, it’s about creating a better experience for you, our fairgoers. From beating the summer heat, to enjoying incredible free stage shows in comfort and shade, this new addition is something weโ€™re incredibly proud of.

Even betterโ€”this canopy will allow Peoples Bank and Trust Arena to be used for even more events year-round, opening the door to new opportunities for entertainment, community gatherings, and more!

We canโ€™t wait for you to see it this September! ๐ŸŽชโ˜€๏ธ
