April at the 1861 Club: Community, Connection & Celebration

Spring was in full swing at the 1861 Club this April, and with it came a number of meaningful events and community engagement.

We were honored to host the Boys & Girls Club 35 Year Celebration and Fundraiser, supporting the future of local youth with an inspiring evening of generosity and joy. AS Designed Co and B.Epic! Events really made this the Greatest Celebration and deserve a standing ovation for their ability to bring their imagination to life at the 1861 Club.

Our team had the pleasure of connecting with emerging professionals at the Hutchinson Community College Job Fair, sharing part time and seasonal opportunities with local talent. We made some great connections!

The Mennonite Relief Sale brought heart and heritage to our patio, with guests enjoying beautiful weather and a great cause. It wasn’t a surprise that the turnout for this event was amazing!

We also welcomed Quidel Ortho for a two-week training session, showcasing our venue’s flexibility for medical and corporate functions. Their team was fun to work with and we hope to have them back soon.

As always, we opened our doors for several private tours, offering a glimpse into the charm and versatility of our space. If you or someone you know would like to schedule a tour, please contact Maddie Burns at 620-615-7328. She will be happy to show you our beautiful space!

Behind the scenes, our staff has been working hard preparing for one of our favorite events- Hats & Horses: A Kentucky Derby Party- set to take place May 3rd.  This luxury fundraising event supports improvements on the Kansas State Fairgrounds. Be on the lookout for fun photos from the event as well as our winners for best dressed contests!

Thank you for being part of our journey as we continue to celebrate community, connection, and unforgettable experiences at the 1861 Club.
