Margaret Mead said, “Never underestimate the power of a small group of committed people to change the world. In fact, it is the only thing that ever has.”
This is true of the Kansas State Fair. For the Fair to be successful, it takes individuals and families from across the state to make an Impact on the success of the Fair. These individuals and families are involved in the Fair’s programs and activities; entering and exhibiting at the Fair; volunteering their time and expertise towards improving the Fair; serving on committees and boards associated with the Fair; and annual attendance and participation in Fair programs and activities; as well as financial support of the Fair.
The Kansas Fairgrounds Foundation is excited to recognize these individuals and families who have made a difference to the Kansas State Fair with the Impact Award.
We are asking for your help in identifying and recognizing these people. Nominations are open through March 15, 2024 on our website. Please take a few minutes to fill out the form and nominate an individual or family you believe has made an Impact on the Kansas State Fair.
